World Mission Workshop at OVU
Missions are important at Ohio Valley University. Each fall the University takes approximately 50 students to the World Mission Workshop. Over the past decade, students and faculty have taken mission trips to many areas of the world, including Honduras, Guyana, Australia, Ukraine, Japan, Ghana, Romania, Myanmar, England, India, Papau New Guinea, Brazil, and the Navajo Indian Reservation. In addition, several programs in missions are offered, including a Bible degree with Missions specialization, a Vocational Missions second major, a missions minor, and a missions certificate.
